Post by: CHOWLAM906 on June 04, 2012, 09:20:59 AM
Pal, I am having a problem with my K75s with the motor fan come on when the engine is cold.  (whenever I start the engine the fan came) does anyone knows what went wrong & how to fix it?

Much appreciated !

Possibilities:

a) The insulation on the wiring for the temp sensor is worn and grounding somewhere

b) The temp sensor has gone bad

c) The temp relay has gone bad

Also check the ground path to the heat management relay.

I would check the relay first it is probably stuck on. Most of the relays dont have any way of preventing arcing at the contacts when releasing and they sometimes weld shut. They can often be fixed by cleaning the contacts but are only cheap to replace.
