Title: Brake Pedal Spring
Post by: ccjax on May 28, 2012, 05:55:11 PM
The spring on my 85 K100 broke or rusted off.  I have determined that one end attaches so the pedal, but I cannot not for the life of me figure out where the other end attaches.   This seems like it should be fairly simple but I am getting nowhere.  Any help would be appreciated.

There's a horizontal post sticking out of your center stand. It has three grooves in it. The inner and outer grooves locate springs for the center stand; the middle groove is where you park that spring off your brake pedal. Hope this helps.

Well, if you want a job done right, do it yourself.
