It's a works performance so I don't see any reason you couldn't rebuild it.
In theory all shocks are rebuildable but some you just wouldn't bother to do it.

Any good dirt bike shop can usually revamp a rear shock.

Sounds good. What does it cost to do a basic R&R on one of these? I may just do the re-seal myself if it is in good shape otherwise. I can work on it in a machine shop, and have access to N2 and a manifold for pressurizing shocks.

Not that difficult, I've done the new seals,oil change, and nitrogen recharge before at our local dirt bike shop.
Make sure bleed the bladder first and purge all the air out when you recharge with oil.
The seals are pretty basic. You also need to know precisely how much fluid to put in that shock.... Too much and you blow out seals, too little and the shock does not operate properly. You also need to know how much Nitrogen to put in it.

I think it comes in the bag. Or that might be a seal kit. Either way, they wear out and should be replaced.

SL-S-KIT-1R Seal kit, unit SB w/o Piston Ring w/rem reservoir @ $23.10.
REZ-BL-200 Urethane bladder @ $18.00
IGSET-880x12 Igus bushing set w/ sleeve bearing (one eye) @ $17.25
BRG-MS1012-12 Bearing, Igus 5/8 id x 3/4, FX eye @ $3.50 each. (This is the
sleeve that presses into the eyelet that the steel igus bushings fit into.
If you do not need the steel Igus bushings, order this instead of the
IGSET-880X12 complete bushing set.
If you want to convert from the igus type bushing to a heim bearing type
bushing: HSET-880X12 Heim bushing set w/ bearing and O-rings (one eye)@ $42
each.
Service instructions are attached. Use Belray HVI 10wt oil or Maxima Racing

I think I will stick with the igus bushing style, but buy a new bushing insert. The metal parts are fine.
Think it is worthwhile to replace the bladder?

It would be at one end or both where it mounts. If it wears out and they have an upgrade, there is probably a reason. Heim joints can handle more out of alignment issues than a bushing. See page 6 of the instructions.
For $18 .. if I was pulling the shock apart anyway, I would put in the bladder.

We're at the cutting edge in Berkeley. :P
The Existing joint is probably fine, but for three bucks, I'll replace the bushing.

I did it. It wasn't a big deal. Just followed the instructions. I actually need to coat the spring again, so I will have to pull it apart. I need to make a better spring compressor.
