Sure, they work fine, still have lotsa pad. But I live in dusty, gritty environment, and I know they ain't gonna get any better. Feedback, y'all?

Johnny is right. There isn't much to turn, anyhow. If they have a problem, deal with it then.

I ran some by a brake shop one day and they said not enough meat there to turn 'em.
Ride it 'til it won't move. Or just keeps moving when you want it to stop. :imwithstupid:

Mine look like that too. The pads bed into the groves, as long as they're not warped you're good.

Yeah, zey are waffer theen alright. Kinda figgered there wasn't enuf there to do anything with but hey, never hurts to ask. So far no probs, Thanks all.

After the pads bed in to the disc you will have more surface area so the brakes must be better :lol:

You can run them below spec. NOT recommended but doable, as long as the rotor is NOT cracked or showing "warning signs" of fatigue. Tip, if you choose a softer pad the rotors will last a very long time compared to a sintered model.
With a thin disc, danger that the pistons can get hung up is my understanding.
EBC has a GREAT replacement rotor worked up for the K 75.

Price the OEM BMW discs for a cardiac arrest,especially if you have ABS counting rings. $545.00 EACH

Yeah, I used to snigger at my friends who own land rovers or range rovers about how they had to present their posterior when approaching the parts counter. Guess th' buggering's on me now that I've entered the Beemer world :embarass:
