Title: The girl from frankenduck´s avatar
Post by: sup on March 03, 2012, 07:11:05 AM
I wonder  :dunno whether frankenduck  would be willing to show us the lower body part of the screaming girl from his avatar :loopy:. Anyway duck, I like it  :giggles.

Do a Google image search on Janet Leigh if you want to see more of her.  My avatar is based on the shower scene from Alfred Hitchcock's classic thriller Psycho.

Frankenduck,  thanks for explanation, I really seemed to know the girl from somewhere, I could not find out. Nice one that Janet Leigh was. I saw the movie more than 30 years ago.

But what made me really worried was sudden departure of the duck from the avatar scene - backwards. I wondered what made it frightened so much. It did not seem to be related to donkeys as Scott hints at. There was something between duck and girl. You should know that it is directly of my interest to know the reason, that I also belong to the kingdom of birds. My nickname, Czech sup stands for english vulture. Many years ago the motorbike boys fell into a habit of calling me sup instead of using my real surname, which is vorel - eagle. I guess it was because of my immense beauty at that time  :neener:, as I resembled more a vulture than an eagle.

Cheers.

Here's the deal: The beginning of it is when the duck's shadow appears - much like the shadow of the knife that appears in the movie Psycho.  Then the duck comes in to clarify what the shadow is.  Then the duck disappears at the end to restart the sequence.

I can't remember where I found it but when I did I thought it was hilarious and decided that it would make a great duck avatar.
