Title: trickle charger compatability
Post by: sbeadg on February 11, 2012, 12:26:04 PM
Guys,
I was about to put this trickle charger on my new Odyssey (PC 925 LMJ) battery.  For the hell of it, I went to the Odyssey site and its not on their list of "approved" chargers.  I figure that has more to do with Deltran not paying for the listing than anything.  I've actually already had it on there for several days before and its cranking fine, though haven't put a meter on it.
Any thoughts?
Thanks.

Ha, is your voltage regulator on the approved list ?

Bullshit tricKery to make you buy a pricey charger ?

I've been running BTJs with Oysseys for years.

(And please learn how to resize pictures before attaching them.  There's no need to post 2.2 MB image files.  Because of people who haven't figured this out yet I've had to set up the forum to show thumbnails instead of images to cut down on the thread size and loading time.)

Sorry Frank,  I just got this phone and started using the camera.  I didn't think to see what resolution it shot, or that it might be adjustable-

I also use one of those for $15.00 and a $5.00 BMW adapter and it just plugs in and ready to go when ever I am.

Deltran and Odyssey, for some reason, had a feud of some sort a few years ago.  You used to be able to see evidence of it on the Deltran site FAQs but it's been removed.
