Anyone have any tips on how to loosen the hose clamp for the crankcase ventilation hose on a 91 K100RS? Can't access with a screwdriver and not having any luck with a 7mm socket, which I can barely get on it. Be interested in hearing what type of tools folks have used to get to it. It is located on the left side of the bike, just aft of the rear air intake tube, underneath the relay box. Thanks...

Metric nutdriver, _________ EAZY beans.

Does the nut driver have a flexible shaft? No room on mine to get a straight shot in.
-
DRx: They are MUCH harder to get at on a 4V k, not sitting out in the open like on a 2V.

1/4 extension with swivel UJ if it's an impossible straight shot.

Ha, I remember Tom Cutter pissing & moaning about crankcase hose R&R on the BIG list before.
dunno, I've wrenched on both 2V & 4V, NO BIG deal either way.
Patience is the key. Seem to remember, I did break out the UJ on the 4V.

They're pretty buried on the 4V bikes. Since I've done about everything else to my 94 RS I've been considering doing the CCB hose but that's just because I'll be visiting my dad again later this month and have LOTS of spare time.
