Usually it's because your phone's internal data is configured to export photos in one orientation only, usually portrait. Did you take those photos Portrait or Landscape. You can use photo software to reorient them or use this site's gallery function to orient them and post them.

There's plenty of instruction online to solve this import/export orientation problem.

Did you scan the QR code on those instructions to find addition info, or are those instructions the result of scanning the QR code?

I did scan the QR code and it went to a page that does not exist. The instructions on the website are the same as the paper. My question is what size do I make the spacers. i may bite the bullet and have the local BMW shop build them but I'll keep digging for info for now. Appreciate the help.

A reasonable approach is to remove the guts from one fork tube and use your parts to fabricate spacer that provide the same overall length in assembly. Presumably you ordered and received parts for your Brick's specific model. Do you have a Showa or Sport fork?

To start off, our Bricks' forks—the Showa included—are conventional forks. They have no simple preload adjuster for sag. Sag is the amount of fork movement from unloaded and to loaded with a geared-up rider in riding position. Preload adjustment is done by changing the length of the top spacer in conventional forks but change spring rate can also affect preload. The diagram for Showa parts is attached. Its from the MaxBMW parts fiche.

I went to the Race Tech site and found general instructions. Our Bricks are so elderly that setting sag in the old way is barely covered. Emulators are the way to go. Mighty Gryphon, a member here, had good results with them. Maybe he'll chime in. Regardless, here are the instructions (https://racetech.com/ip-fk-preload-relaxed-and-actual/) I found. Are the tubes still assembled?

The tubes are still assembled. Thanks for the info Laitch. I did search the forums and heard the good results with emulators. I ordered a set today. I feel it's a great investment for ride quality. My adventure in Showa rebuild continues.
