Title: ODOMETER GEAR
Post by: Atabeach on November 15, 2025, 08:40:22 AM
Ok sooo I am using a new company for gear set change. I remember not removing the brass ferrule from small gear shaft. The gear set and instructions are to remove a perfectly fine brass ferrule. Thoughts. Ordering from Italy will take more time.

Are those instructions from odometergears.com?

Those are the instructions from odometers.com. Yes. Customer service is really nice. The guy ended up calling me and assuring me that removing that brass ferrule would not damage shaft. It’s all assembled and looks OK. for the record, they have great customer service and the price was very reasonable as compared to ordering overseas.
