1985 K100RT, very original. When you use the side stand, is there a substantial lean to the bike?
It's been a few years since I had my previous RT, so I don't remember what "normal" is.
Understand use the center stand to avoid small amount of oil getting in the cylinders, and smoking on startup.
-
"Normal" is when folks looking at the Brick say to you, "Is it supposed to lean over that far?".
-
If you're worried about it then it's normal. :laughing4-giggles:
"They all do that."

I was watching a Fortnine video on the K75 and there was a shot of the bike on its side stand. It looked much more upright than mine.
I know this isn't a scientific comparison. But there's no way the lean on mine is normal.

Instead of posting a photo showing the lean of a Brick that isn't yours, post one of your Brick, straight on at headlight level with as uncluttered a background as possible.

I parked my K75RT on the wrong side of the road once to take a pic. I parked it on the side stand about an inch away from the guardrail in order to keep it away from oncoming traffic. Some guy on a H-D rode by and saw my bike leaned a lot into the guardrail. Thinking I'd crashed into the guardrail, he pulled over and came running back to help me. I told him that I was OK, thanked him for his concern and explained that my bike just leaned a lot on the side stand.
