Im new to K75's. I got a 94 K75 this summer.
My bike has 2 BMW accessory sockets.
Strangely, they are both powered all the time, whether the bike is on or off.
Is this normal? Im not used to BMW accessory sockets that are powered full time.
I have had other BMW's and they all shut off after a certain amount of time.
Wonder if the previous owner did this? Either way, Im thinking of putting them on a relay. Unless I use one for the trickle charger.

It's normal on Bricks. Those sockets can be rewired to a source of switched power. Your R12 models have the Can Bus electrical system that will shut down circuits when it senses possible overloads.

What is a good switched power source to use as a relay trigger?
Currently I’m using the fuel pump circuit for the voltmeter.
I like this because I prefer the trigger only when the engine is running. Not when the ignition is on.

I guess I don't understand your concern so I'll just leave you to it. 112350

GRN/BRN of the white alarm connector in the relay box is switched power from Fuse 7

Thanks!
