Hello all
Currently bringing back to life a 1987 K100, that had sat in a shed for 28 years after my grandfather was knocked off of it.
Wish me luck...

Wow! That's a lot of years sitting. Mine is an 86 that sat for 5 years with fuel in the tank. Everything was bad! So far I've replaced the fuel pump, filter, lines and injectors. Found a blown fuse for the fuel pump. It is at least starting but won't do anything but idle. I've still got the fuel line to the regulator needing replacement as well as the PCV tube. Most of the rubber bits were in sorry shape! The rubber sleeve the fuel pump sat in was dissolving in the fuel tank. It left quite the mess! Good luck with your project!!

Good luck. At least when you get it running it will only be an eight year old bike.
Lots of good advice and help here. Just ask.
