Just picked up a very cheap K75RT 1991 , 97,000 miles . Looks like it’s an all there apart from the ECU , are there specific ones to each model year ?? My first problem was the DATATOOL S4 immobiliser ans alarm fitted , that had already cut wires. It was doing its job , so 5 minutes on YouTube had the solution . Far too simple , but done a the dash now lights up. Trying to get to turn over in the button is not working, direct voltage to started gets it spinning , so some investigation there. It’s also missing the ECY so trying to source one locally , how can I test the fuel pump? Head lights not working , could it all be linked to a poor stater motor?? There is a spare with the bike . Any other things I can check to get the old girl started ??
