Title: K side cowls

From looking at pics, it looks like the k75 and k100 have different side cowls? Can someone confirm that? I think my 75 has cowls from a 100 because the body lines don't match up.

Put the last 7 digits of the VIN in this VIN checker (https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select?product=M&archive=1) and let's find out what comes up. Also, show the reverse side of the battery cover.

Those side covers are from an 83-85 K100.

There are three styles of K75/K100 side covers. Look about 1/2 way down on this page; Battery Side Covers:
