Title: capped connector, under tank: bl/ws, ge/vi, br
Post by: schrocketeer on April 27, 2025, 02:15:53 AM
1985 K100RT, modded by a previous owner.
Would you please help me identify the capped off connector, under the fuel tank (attached picture). It's got White/Blue, Yellow/Violet, and Brown. A previous owner disconnected whatever used to connect in to that.
Next to it, the bypassed clutch switch is marked.
The brown, ground collection point under the tank, is mounted just a couple of inches back from this three pin connector.

For context, I've also found a speed control wire that had been spliced which I've repaired for the electric TurboPac by TurboDyne electric driven, intake boost pressure "blower/compresser". Perhaps that's a clue as to what this connector may have been associated with?

Connection for hazard lights.

Hazard lights dash switch. The reason that it has three wires is because the early Ks has a tiny light bulb in the switch that would flash with the hazard lights. That's what the BLU/WHT wire does. To turn on the hazards the switch grounds the YEL/VIO wire to BRN.
