The other part is just a single wire with a spade connector and a 90 degree rubber boot.  You can probably make one for cheaper than you can buy one. Use silicon wire, its heat resistant.

Here is a used wire

i still recommend replacing the 30+ year old wire part with new silicone wire.  Just steal the connector and rubber boot from this.  The connection to the sensor is literally just a standard spade connector.

Thanks for the information, I was hoping to get the sensor used from a bobber conversion or “parts bike” …

The challenge with that is that the builder would need to have a plug to replace the sensor. There is no good reason to do that since the sensor functions as a plug.

I saw you inquiring on some FB groupstoday as well. The cafe groups are the best place to ask, and I'd specifically ask if anyone will sell you their used one. People are gonna assume you are looking for one from some parts supplier.

Finding the cable from a builder should be easier.

Ok I believe I have resourced the Sensor and cable..Thanks Guys!...Unfortunately the wire harness I purchased on Fleabay did not come with the fuel/temperature gauge "Y" harness... I believe the part # is 6112 145 9488.

This part should be much much easier to source than the sensor itself by asking on the cafe forums on fb. Almost all builders delete their temp guages.

I have been looking for some time now. Thought I had one.

I'd post a Pic in the cafe groups and explicitly ask if anyone is deleting their temp gauge. New bikes being started for those projects all the time.

I think I ditched my old electrics, but I will check when I get home. There is a slim chance I still have this cord from my build.

Is this the part you need?  This is in my possession if you want it. Just pay postage
