Spring weather for the next 3 days ... before it drops to single digits again. Just enough to imagine riding around the Beartooth, Pryor, Absarokee, and Big Horn ranges. Which reminds me:
2025 Beartooth Beemers Rendezvous, 27th year
AUG 14-16 (thur-sun)
Registration opens Feb 1st on the Beartooth Beemers website.
The killer deal for cabin bunks is the same at $30/single/3 nights. Tent camping is awesome with flat ground.

The snow is still on the Beartooth's, but the weather for riding has been great .. thank goodness for grip heaters. Not much excitement, as last year a bear got a little girl (don't sleep with snacks!), and yesterday a guy hardcast pilled a Grizz sow. Things are waking up, hope to see some of you at Red Lodge this year. First ice cream is on me 😃
Cheers

Beartooth Pass is open, and the road to Cooke City is really nice with the repairs after the flood.
Hope to connect some faces to screen names.
Cheers
* we have space in Billings for those making a long ride/trip or needing to wrench on their bike.

natalene,
Had an accident (not moto related) that resulted in an upper arm break at the shoulder joint. just started rehab so no long moto trips this year for sure. We (wife and I) got a house out in eastern MT, and plan to spend more time out that way in the future. It's bin so long since we have seen each other nether of us may not recognize each other. If you are close to Billings, if nothing else we could meet for lunch or something the next time I'm out that way.

Our prayers are with you for a quick rehab and full ROM to the shoulder. We'll catch up with the story when we meet.
Our ranch is in Eastern MT, Sarpy Creek area. Just had 5 big cats taken near our land, and 40 cats got culled from the hunting district. Recently, bears moved in due to drought south of us, cool to see.
Get out here to Big Sky! I'll help swing a hammer if your building a place.

natalena,
Dam small world!
Our place is in the town or Jordan, to much work for me to get to the hard roads when it rains or snows. I don't mind looking for an adventure but getting old and lazy to live where adventure is looking for me. Sure could have used an extra hammer doing a full remodel on my daughter and son in law's ranch house 20 miles north west of town! Took me a year and a half working a few weeks at a time when I could get away from Pa. They have a few sections in Rock Springs and some in Cool Springs so I guess you could say we are kinda neighbors. I'll look you up the next time I get out there.
I'm kinda home sick right now, they sure have a good 4th of July celebration in Jordan (that I missed this year).

I hear you, as the KoC float/candy toss was in Roundup this 4th. Reminded me of small town Alaska celebrations. Haven't been to Jordan yet, but a buddy fishes Ft Peck a lot!
Heal well and quick, Cheers

Sunday 17th is wrap up day for the Rendezvous. Great meeting with guy's and gal's you only see once a year. Fabulous weather this year too!
Thanks to the Lion's Club for use of the camp/cabins, and the great meals.
Hope to see more Bricksters next year. Cheers
