Gentlemen, I am trying to replace my low seat 1994 K75C with the regular version. I have acquired some parts from a 1995 ? K100...LT or RS (full fairing )... In theory this Seargent seat should fit my K 75S. It does not.. please see photos of fitment to my 1990 S model. I have read that the hardware from 1986 through 1992 is different. However, if you look at the photos, the toolbox would be in the way no matter what the hardware … I think. That being said, I am trying to acquire hardware and seat for my low seat 1994 K75c.... if I cant use the one in photo.

Do you have the FICU holder/toolbox combination in diagram below. You'll need that to replace the holder that you have, if this low seat hasn't been cobbled together. Post some photos showing what is within the frame under the seat.

I do not have ANY of the required parts for conversion...except the seat in photo...That seat may NOT fit when I acquire the standard FICU storage... Ill take photos of my low seat underpinnings, they are all original.

Gentlemen, I am trying to replace my low seat 1994 K75C . . .
Production of the K75C ended in the first quarter of 1990. C models have rear drum brakes. Does yours have a rear drum brake?

Response to Laitch..So I don’t have rear drums, ergo, a 1994 low seat standard? I am trying to fit a standard seat onto that model. Please advise. I’ve seen posts here that suggest there are different mounting brackets 86-92 & 93- 97.

If the seat pan dips down into the frame and hits the toolbox above the L-Jetronic then the seat pan is probably from a 4V K bike.

The seat pan DEFINITELY dips down. I so I have fitted the 4 valve seat to my 1994 K75 low seat standard. I have not acquired a seat lock so the seat is loosely fitted. The side panels seem to fit nice enough. What goes under the seat of a 4 valve bike? That is what type of cover for the electronics that are sure to get wet…?
