I've searched the forums a bit but didn't find anything, so excuse me if it's somewhere and I missed it:
I'm looking for a solution to a center stand hitting my rear tire without the stock muffler and rubber center stand pad thing there to catch it. The only thing I can think of is to fabricate a steel plate that will go between the center stand bracket and the transmission.
Wondering if anyone has ever seen a CAD file for such a device that I could send to a laser cutting service.
I really like my center stand and want to keep it, but can't have it rubbing my rear tire off. So annoying that there isn't an easier spot to put some sort of pad or something to stop it hitting the wheel.
I'll make such a file and post it if I must, but would would easier if something already exists out there.
Also interested in other elegant solutions to this problem that I know is pretty common for us stock k bike destroyers.
Thanks.

My lufty pipe had a center stand tab welded to it, any chance that might work with your set up?

Probably, though I'd still need to cut something from reasonably thick stainless stock and then get it welded on. Would probably be cheaper and easier to make a stainless bracket that will bolt on under the stand bracket. I'll knock both ideas around though.

Well my bracket was successful. I'll post the file at some point for any who may want it.

Have you considered going for a right hand side jiffy.
I do believe it was raw metal racers who sell/make the stand.
Youll lose the center stand, but it clears the left side completely and it adds up to the looks.
Its how i solved it on my previous project.

Nah I show my bike, so I need a center stand for shows since there isn't any reasonable wheel stand for k bikes
