Title: ‘91 K75S headlight issues
Post by: EdwarddRichtofen on September 22, 2024, 06:28:23 PM
Got a puzzle for you guys.. I purchased my first brick a month ago. New rear main seal and clutch. Now I’m fixing the other issues.. my high beam “flash” button works.. but the high beam “on” switch doesn’t.. judging by my brightness, the low beam doesn’t work either, only the DRL.. any ideas?

I think it's unusual in the US but some bricks have a light switch on the right handlebar switch block. Position one only allows power for daytime running lights. Pushing the switch further into position two allows power also for the headlight.

A green/blue wire from the load shed relay supplies power for the flash to pass light and also for the right handlebar light switch, so the flash to pass doesn't depend on the right switch to work. The high/low switch on the left handlebar gets power from the right handlebar light switch through a white/yellow wire.
