Take a battery cover to an auto paint store and have them match it.  Most of these places now have scanning computers that can match pretty much anything.

That would be a last resort....I was hoping someone had the "FORD FIRE" trick for the Titan Blue..as you know...Ford fire color is a perfect match for BMW Mystic Red.

The Ford Fire Red was the result of having the factory Mystic Red paint scanned at my local paint shop.  If it was my bike, that is the first place I would try.  It's amazing what they can do these days.

Have them mix up up their minimum amount which is somewhere around 6-8 ounces and either have them put it in a rattle can or get a Badger model 250 airbrush like I use on eBay and a rattle can of clear coat.   That will give you enough material to do at least a couple minor repairs.  Then you will have a paint name/code you can order again when you need more.

About the Badger airbrush.  I like it because with a little bit of experimentation you can learn to blend in a less than perfect paint match on small repairs so you don't need to do the whole part with base coat.  That helps keep the material cost down and makes your touchup paint go farther.

TMG is spot on. The PPG paint matching computer is beyond science, it is MAGIC in the realm of paint matching.
