Hi
In this season I did the SaddleSore challenge and as te bottom of my back was pretty happy about the event my right wrist was not.
I am thinking of cruise control of sorts as a usefull addition to the whole of the package.
I know there used to be Audiovox, Rostra... what is available now?
Maybe some of you have some experience with this OR maybe you have some NOS kit laying somewhere collecting dust?
Cheers!

p.s. mechanical throttle locking is out of question.

I've done 15 or 20 K bike cruise control installs. Mostly Audiovox but also a couple of Rostra.
The Audiovox CCS-100 is long out of production but they sold so many that they still show up on Ebay fairly often.
I've installed the Roistra 250-1223 on a couple of K75s.
I have a slight preference for the Audiovox since it's not as "jerky" as the Rostra but the Rostra works fine so I'd do either one.

I just looked through the parts list. That's a lot more complicated than just doing the Audiovox CCS-100.

McCruise has no "jerky". Just like a factory unit in a car.

As an avowed capitalist, my hat is off to the proprietors of McCruise who must be turning at least a 90% profit margin.
They make BMW parts look affordable.

And their service is the best. Their response time even from down under is amazing. I installed one of these on a Honda ST1300 and could not find a connector so sent an email and it was answered in 15 minutes. Had no idea what time it was there but that is service in my book. They had not run into my situation before so I took some pics and sent it to them at their request so they could add it to their install instructions.
Yessir, they are pricey but I have never come across anyone with one who didn't think they are worth the money. They just work great and you don't have to cut a wire on your factory harness. That makes it worth it for me.

I'd rather spend the extra $900 on hookers and blow.
-
Now that had not crossed my mind. I'm about 60 miles from recreational New Mexico.
Wonder how much weed $900 would buy? They tell me it is a little stronger than $10 four finger lids of the 70's. :idunno:
