I was lucky to have a wife that understands my bike addiction . She also has a bike license and rides also . Always wanted this bike . Then heard of this one available . 36000km. The chap who had it is a BMW motorcycle specialist . I have sent him an engine before to rebuild and am still enjoying it. He is 800km away . I paid for the bike and flew there . Landed at 12. He fetched me at airport and took me to his workshop too see the bike for the first time . i connected up my gps , 'forgot' to fit the rear number plate and hit the road for home . The plan was to stop at a friend half way and sleep over . But once i got going , the bike felt so good , i just stopped for fuel twice and kept on riding . Got home as it was getting dark , totally in love with the bike . Wife enjoys the rear seat as its comfy so we use it regularly .Not getting rid of my boxer twins but do appreciate the flat side also .
