hi all
i saw this bike advertised on fleabay, its an k1100 with the non floating discs, 4 stud fixing same as the k100, what wheel is this off as every other k1ioo wheel i've looked at is mounted differently?
many thanks

That looks like a K100, ming. It has a 2-valve K100 camshaft cover, 2-valve air intake system, and two-pot instead of 4-pot brake calipers.
-
Incidentally, the front discs on that Brick are floating discs which, as is obvious, can be had for K100 and K75 models. The fork looks K100. The wheels are likely stock 2-V mounted with the widest tires that will fit between the fork legs without rubbing them.

hi laitch
so that front wheel is from a k100? thought only the later k1100 and the rt models had 3 spoke? as i said earlier the discs are definately k100 but i can't reference a three spoke with those discs?

I've discovered in my life that thinking isn't everything it's cracked up to be, ming. :laughing4-giggles: Attached is an image from MaxBMW's parts fiche showing a three-spoker front wheel available for the 2-valve K100 models in the later years of their production. The late K75 models could get them, too. Mine has them.
