Title: Z tube, Silcone / alternate materials
Post by: schrocketeer on February 10, 2023, 11:39:43 AM
For a Z-tube, is there a place to get one in Silicone, or other material, that is Not part of a set?
Seems like there should be something other than the old school radiator type material, yet not buying a complete set of rubbery hoses.

A silicone z-hose is something I hadn't considered. You've found one as part of a set? The last OEM one I bought has functioned well for 50K miles. I paid 20USD for it and there was a bag of M&Ms in the shipping box, too.  :laughing4-giggles:

I replaced my "Z" hose 22 years ago, it was among the list of things that was suggested to do by an ex BMW mechanic. I still have the perfectly fine one that I replaced. Bike has 180,000 K''s and is 30 years old.
