Hi All
Just purchased my first brick. I've owned an airhead for a couple of years and when this 1991 K100RS appeared I could not pass it up. It had under 2700 documented miles, apparently somebody forgot to ride it.

Welcome from Western New York! Enjoy breaking in your new(almost) Brick.
Don't forget to take it to the dealer for the 6,000 mile service.

Which means that you should remove the flapper assembly under the tank filler cap and see if the tank is clean, if you haven't already.
Welcome to the scrum, Peter!

Nice find!
At only 2,700 you have a lot of catching up to do. :laughing4-giggles:
It's obviously done a lot of sitting in the last 30 years. You might want to consider getting the fuel injectors serviced in case varnish has built up in them. I would.

I am doing a full service on the bike including the full fuel system. The fork seals weep and those will be replaced. From what I have been able to get from documents and the previous owner (I'm the 3rd owner) the bike was not registered until 2009 at which point it had 31 miles. At this time the bike had new tires installed and they are the ones still on the bike (date coded to late 2008), they are also being replaced. The 2nd owner rode it sparingly and had to sell due to health reasons.
The bike is stock except that it has had steel braided brake lines installed. When this was done the front fender cover was not reinstalled so I am missing that piece and looking for a replacement if anybody has one. I'm also looking for Rider's manual other other booklets.

Here's some fork brace covers on Ebay that will fit. (I am not affiliated with the sellers.)
