Title: Front Calipers rebuilt BMW K75
Post by: foliver on February 06, 2022, 05:53:57 PM
Hi!, today i worked on the calipers.
All was ok.
I had a kit from Euromotoelectrics.

Without compressed air to unmount the cilinders, i used 2 flat screwdrivers in oposite sides, applying a constant slow force to avoid hurt the lips of the part. All went ok.

I've find 2 cilinders with little "chips" ( corrosion?), i smoothed them, but i'm affraid that with the movement it generates premature wear in the seal.....

I've new Spiegler lines to instal, but i would like to clean the interior of the brake splitter, and i don't figure out how. Any tip?

What is the little black rubber strip?

I guess i need to grease prior to reinstall, im correct?

Thanks!!!
