Hi everyone!. New to this forum. Two-year member over at BMW MOA and coming up on one year at K100 forum. I ride an Alaska Blue 1985 K100RS which I have owned for just over 2 years now. I have done many upgrades and improvements. Previous ride was another vintage bike, a 1977 GS750 which is now somewhere in Lincolnshire, U.K. Anyways, looking forward to being part of this community and here are a few piccies from last summer.
This winter has seen addition of mirrors, repaint (belly pan is now blue too) and crankcase/cam covers are now powder coated gloss black and raised detail has been wet-sanded back to aluminum. I don't have new pictures of updated look yet.

Thanks. It really is in nice shape. Bought it with 30,010 miles. Whether that is original (speedo issues you know) or not I don't know and I'm not concerned about it. I wanted one, so...........
I'm hoping for a trip to Montana this summer. Maybe around Kalispell or Missoula. Will just have to see how this COVID thing is going to unfold further. I don't want to go down there, test positive and then get stuck in isolation somewhere.

I hear you on the plague. I haven't been on a trip since 2019 for fear of getting stuck somewhere. Had a trip to Alaska I wanted to do in 2021. Wondering now if it's ever going to happen.

Updated today with new photos of how it currently looks. Mirrors have been added. Crankcase cover, cam cover and small timing cover (not cam chain cover) were powder coated gloss black and then the powder coating on the raised detail was wet-sanded/polished to reveal the aluminum finish underneath.

I NEED a tidy man-cave, caveman. That's a polyaspartic floor coating I had put on my garage floor and side walls with coloured flakes added. It essentially seals my floor and sides and creates a tub that I can wash. Garage is 12' x 22', and while it doesn't show well in this photo, is plenty big enough. I back in my Tucson off to one side and there is lots of room on the drivers side to open doors without hitting my bike and there is still 6' clearance between the shelves and my car.

Hey from the Hamilton area! Did you put that Remus exhaust on or did the bike come with it? How do you like it? You have a nice-looking bike there, for sure.

My bike didn't come with the Remus. The stock exhaust was in great shape and polished up nicely, but once I found out that I could still get a new Remus (Germany) I had to have one. I didn't buy it for performance because it doesn't do anything in that department. I wanted something that was lighter and a little more aesthetic. It makes a nice rumble at idle, above that I have no idea. But is doesn't sound like a Yoshimura or any of the other pipes that you'll find on transverse fours.
I'm from Belleville originally by the way.
