Post by: mikadimare on January 14, 2022, 04:27:34 AM
Hi all,

Just wanted to introduce myself, I'm Mike and from the Netherlands. That small country within Europe ^^.
Bought a K bike back in October and started converting it to a Naked/Cafe racer :-)

WELCOME
1: post some photos!
2: find a good home for the parts you take off!
3: save the "loop" (the part behind the seat / over the rear tire) if you cut it off, in case you decide to revert to something more stock!

Hi Mike,
Ya', the Netherlands might be a small country but it certainly punches above its weight in know-how. I am thinking engineering, heavy lifting of all sorts, good beer and cheese and great rowers and skaters!! I watch videos of some of the German highway/ bridge projects....and who do they bring in to move stuff? The Dutch. And it was a Dutch crane that lifted the components of the Confederation Bridge between Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. A huge project requiring the world's largest floating crane from.....the Netherlands! We won't even get into the dike and sea gate systems you guys have!

Anyway, welcome and send a few photos of your machine when you can.
