Title: K1100 starter doesn't turn

Can someone send me pics of starter wirings off a k1100?

I'm putting the bike back together and I have power in the cluster, fuel pump works, but when I press ignition, nothing happens and no sound of starter kicking or turning either.

Does the headlight go dark when you press the starter?

Kill switch pointing straight up?

The start button only gets power if the cluster green N lamp is illuminated or the clutch is pulled in.

And the side stand switch needs to be plugged in with the side stand retracted.

You have your motos' models in your signature, now add the years. There are differences in the systems depending on the year of manufacture.

with going thru all your comments and guidance, I was able to resolve the issue. Moving on to the next stage ...

I'm not sure what was the real cause.
I reconnected Gear Indicator, Clutch Sensor, recharged the battery and shifted gears up and down a few times.

I guess one of the above fixed it. The starter cranked a few times and I need to recharge the battery one more time (I know, I need a new battery, but it's coming once I have the bike running and fully functional).

I am moving forward with installing lighting and tires on the powder coated wheels. :-)
