Title: Extra leads inside the mirror housing on the fairing
Post by: AtLarge on November 04, 2021, 02:25:20 PM
Just to be sure... the extra wires are for running lights correct?  Can I buy off the shelf jacks that will fit those plugs?  I would rather not cut and splice if I don't have to.  The MAX fiche is acting up for me and I can't even find the explosion for the pods.  Is there a bulb holder part number that I can just replace my original with and use double filament 1157 style bulbs? :idunno:

What "extra" wires?

There's no factory part to run 1157 dual filament bulbs.

The black plug is for the turn signal.  I can see the BMW 1369229 and AMP 926569 part number on that but, the white is blank.

The white connector is not factory. Only the black one is.

I think you nailed it with the Run n lites. When i took off the other one it still had the bulb holder like on that website. Bulb was black so obviously burned out which is why I had not noticed before. Thanks Frank. :-)
