The ABS switch has two positions, an off position and a momentary on position that doesn't stay down when you take your finger off of it.
The other commonly found switch is for the hazard flashers. It is a two position switch, off and on.

Is the far left switch the Heated grips? And that far right switch is the ABS? If so, I guess the ABS is supposed to have an indicator lamp in it. Hasn’t been ther on my watch,….. +/-15 years. For that matter, the Left has no light working either.A light in the switch itself was not standard equipment; it may have been a feature in the Presidential, Prime ministerial, and El Jéfe models, but there is an accommodation for one.

Early K75s and K100s did have a lamp in the hazard switch that flashed with the hazards. ABS switches never had a lamp.
It is possible to retrofit LEDs into the switches though:

I believe the Lucas technical term for the heated grip wiring is a smoke release valve.
