Unfortunately, you can't remove the gear from the shaft without damaging the part. Even if you do, I'm not aware of any place where you can purchase just the shaft. If you need to replace the shaft due to pitting, you will have to buy a new shaft, which in turn comes with a preinstalled gear. I recently rebuilt my pump and found it had a badly pitted shaft. I purchased my new shaft from EuroMotoElectric. Just make sure you purchase the shaft with the correct number of teeth on the gear. The old one makes a nice desk ornament :laughing1:
