I need to replace my throttle cable because the plastic 90 degree shaped end next to the throttle housing has broke, but i cant figure out how to remove & split the handlebar switch/front master cylinder unit.
Is this part actually one piece? and is there a step by step article on the forum about how to replace the K1100LT throttle cable?
Thanks
Dave

The part in red below is a little metal plate that holds the throttle tube on. You need to remove screws 4 and 5. If you have heated grips be careful not to screw up the wires where they connect at the outer end of the grip.
