Since Blue85 re-woke his thread, I'll add that the McDonalds in Evansville, IN had The McRib back in 1982 when I was in college there.
IN was a test market for new foods. Taco Bell had real shredded beef tacos. The McDonalds in Anderson, IN had Johnsonville Brats.

UofE or USI? If you haven't been back there in awhile, that city has changed a lot! Wish I'd known how much it would grow since I lived there in the early 90s, I'd have been buying property.
