Besides sounding and looking better they're lighter than stock.  Don't expect any performance gains.

Just saw your post, sorry I did not chime in earlier.

 I found that in addition to it being lighter, the Staintune is very similar sounding, as the OEM, at idle, or when cruising.

  The sound becomes louder, but not obnoxious, as you are accelerating through the gears. Additionally, I noticed less instances of backfiring on trailing throttle.
