but it has electronic ignition !!!

ugh, aren't there enough old Honda's and Suzuki's to desecrate?

:laughing4-giggles: :laughing1: 44271 "Ready to Ride" except no sane person would ride that more than about 5 miles. Which is why it's for sale. Is my guess.

Looks to be relatively intact! I say put a toaster, a factory seat, fenders, mirrors and REPLACE the air cleaner. If you would do so, you would approach the asking price 112350 . IMHO this is one of the most desirable BMW bikes, but perhaps I am biased as my first bike was an R65/5 toaster! In order of bikes that have BMW value to me; R75/5 toaster, R90S, K1, K100 SE, s1000rr :laughing4-giggles: !

If I didn't already have a great-running moto, this one (https://nh.craigslist.org/mpo/d/laconia-bmw-k-original-miles-bmw/7175582588.html) would be appealing for a third of the price of that R75, even if it were toasted.

Nice, especially that transmission with the extra gears! 44271 "Vintage 1974 BMW R60 / 6 , ( 600 cc / 6 Speed) with only 31K original miles."

In New Hampshire, Neutral is counted as a gear and unoriginal miles don't count.

The R60 is a bit under-powered. :laughing1: The extra gear might come in handy!!!

Underpower is desirable in the time of Covid-19, when you can't go anywhere anyhow. It helps the ride last longer. icon_cheers

Interesting that the more parts that they remove, the higher the price tag.
