Hello guys.
I have a quick question regarding my K1100 -95 bike.
I found a replacement fuel tank from a -89 K100 for sale and just wondered if it fits my K1100 bike? Is the inside and the fump diffrent but the shell he same or will it work as it is?
Did not find a straight reference on this subject so im asking if anyone knows.
Thanks!
Sam.
*by the way im new here, just registered but have scrolled this Forum for about 1 year now. Needed some advice from the Forum with my Bep Installation. Thats all sorted out exept for the fuel level indicator that i asume has to be done separetly.

According to this entry on a table made by Anton Largadier and Brian Curry—two well-regarded Brick aficionados—what will work on your K1100 is a tank from a K75RT or a K1100RS. Here's the original article (http://www.largiader.com/k75/ktanks.html).

Yes, so it seems. It just wont fit.
I found a site: http://largiader.com/k75/ktanks.html
The width of the forward mount was increased from 90mm to 130mm from year 93->
Also the rear mount is different and other improvements/changes was made.
Thanks Laitch for the info.
