Title: Lazy fix??? For gearbox leak
Post by: boxer.randy on July 20, 2020, 05:34:01 PM
My 92 K75 S started leaking a few drops of gear oil a week. Not a big deal to get worked up over but I bought the necessary bits to attempt the job. While the parts were on order, I went to the auto store and they convinced me to try Blue Devil Transmission Sealer. It must be good cause it cost twice as much as anything else. We all suspect that stuff like this is snake oil and doomed to failure. Doggone it but after a few hundred miles THAT leak has stopped completely. Can’t Say that I’m A believer but I won’t Be tearing into that box anytime soon.

Well, two months down the road and Not One Drip! I’m A believer. If any of my bikes develop leaks, I will try this first.
