Title: K100 Russell day long seat $100

In good shape. This came off my 89 k100rs. Only has one slight blemish at the seam pictured below. I’m located in central mass for pickup or I can ship it.

That seat looks like it's for the early K100 ('85 or '86) with the hand holds on the seat instead of the tail cowl.

Yup. Definitely an 85 and earlier seat pan that won't fit the tail cowl of model year 1986 and later Ks.

A photo of the motorcycle it came from is attached. According Grendell's original post concerning this moto (http://www.motobrick.com/index.php?topic=13780.msg123424#msg123424), he's been under the impression that it's an '89. Judging from the tank mount's it could be. Maybe the previous owner put an earlier cowl on it, or it was assembled in a cusp year for those parts.

That's definitely a 1985 tail cowl. The peg plate is 1985 as well.

Yup that’s an early seat, that black bike which had the kit is an 85. The bike I restored and swapped the kit into is an 89.
