Title: K75 T windscreen
Post by: jjefferies on July 07, 2020, 02:07:23 AM
I am looking for a photo of a K-75 with the "T" windscreen on it. The diagrams off MAX-BMW Parts and REALOEM just aren't enough to put the windscreen/fairing back together. I'm finishing a restoration and have the "T" screen and a bunch of parts. Not sure if the parts are correct for the bike and have been trying to put it all together. But have not been able to find a decent diagram or description of what goes where. I would really appreciate a photo with enough detail to see how the windscreen is actually mounted on the handle bars. Please just e-mail me directly : jjefferies44@gmail.com

thanks

I would be interested in seeing that too as I have a T project bike with a windscreen and no brackets.

Thanks for that clarification. It appears my '87 K75C is actually a 'T' with a rear drum brake.

Thanks for the pictures, it helps me figure out a way to mount the one I have. You can't get one of the brakets, the right one I think, from BMW.

FYI - I've had success hunting up old K bike parts at the Dutch site www.boonstraparts.com

I have 2 complete sets of mounting hardware for the Standard windshield.  One new and one used. I believe that somewhere I have the OEM mounting instructions. Email me.
