Hello Everybody.
My k11 didnt have much power and the engine hesitates between 3000- 4500 RPM at open Throttle. I thought it was a vacuum problem and change d all the old rubbers. Much better but still had that problem at acceleration.
Somebody advised the TPS to be disconnected . The power gained was incredible above 2000 RPM. All the torque i need. Now i have problems at idle until i reach 2000 RPM.
I clean and adjust the TPS. At rest it measures 0.35 volts and as I accelerate the voltage goes up continuously . SO i guess the TPS is not the problem.
Any ideas? Thank you

What you've been doing so far is a partial tuneup. You should now check the idle speed, throttle body synchronization and CO value, correcting each if necessary. When you finish these tasks you'll have done a complete tuneup if the valve clearances, spark plugs and air filter were ok. Which manual are you using? Ideally, all these steps are done one after the other at one go, however long it takes.

The bike was unused for 17 years. So i am fixing step by step. Spark plugs are new, air filter new. Injectors cleaned and tested. I have Clymer and BMW manuals. I havent been able to sync the throttles. I need to get the CARBTUNE PRO.
I see carbon build up in the spark plugs and oil consumption so i am assuming rubber valves must be replace and probably because of build up and the bike sitting for a long time a valve job is required.

After sitting for 17 years the piston rings can stick, this will cause uneven running. With use they normally free up but there are oil treatments that can hasten the process.

Don't assume. Do a compression test followed by a leak down test, but first, finish your tune up.

Rings stick and will need some running time to free up.
There is a procedure for setting the TPS using the test function in the Motronic ECU and the temperature idiot light. Did you use it?
No need for an expensive Carb tune. A couple bottles a couple corks and some brass and plastic tubing. You balance one throttle at a time, referencing to #4. Works great and is very inexpensive.

I did the temperature light test. After a slight acceleration the light turns off. Your divice looks good . I will give it a try .
I do need to check all other things mentioned here.
Thank you
