The main ABS warning light in the LH Clock comes on when the ignition is switched on and stays on.. Brakes work okay.. This has happened after I had unplugged the ABS 'Brain' to re-locate it (now re plugged in). Is a reset needed? Thanks for any advice.

Please share how you sorted it, Commando. That would be helpful for others.

Hi Laitch - It's kind of embarrassing.. I tried a ABS reset and when that made no difference I started checking and found the large ABS brain multi-plug was not property clicked and locked into place .. I don't think that's going to be very helpful (I doubt anyone else will be that stupid)..

It's helpful because it's another reminder that loose/faulty plugs and ground connections are common reasons why systems on these motos don't work right and the simplest reasons for system failure should always be explored first. Members here frequently forget that concept.
I hope this ends your problem; celebrate in 1000 miles. icon_cheers

Hi Laitch - yes - Thanks ... The bikes running well now - Only problem I have to getting that thousand miles done is the Government annual test we have over here (the MOT Test).. The tester wasn't happy to approve it because the steering movement is slightly restricted - obviously due to the clip on bars. . My K75 has very adequate movement - much more than a modern sports bike .. but they are wanting the steering to hit the stops.. That won't be possible so to try and address this I have put aluminium buffers on the stops so the steering hits the stop within the travel it has .. Fingers crossed :)
