I have a 1994 K75RT ex-police bike that I had as a project this past winter. I've been quite happy with the way it runs; I did the usual stuff, all fluids ,fuel lines, sparkplugs, plug wires, replaced the alternator and monkey nuts, fuel filter, lubed the driveshaft. As I said it runs and starts great and I've put about 1000KM
on it since getting it back on the road. However, I have this weird clanking noise about 3000RPM usually when I back off the throttle. It is not a consistent sound, seems somewhat random and will do it in any gear.
It,s noticeable enough that I can feel it in the footpegs when I,m riding. Anyone have any thoughts

Hi;
I,ve been dosing it with Techron pretty well but I do need to give it a throttle sync. The earplugs are a good thought but I,m about half deaf anyways so I might not need them
Thanks Barry
