Title: K1100 LT '92 TPS Sensor connector
Post by: ixandstones on March 18, 2020, 05:06:16 PM
Hello

I recently ran into some stalling problems and after a quick look, saw that the TPS sensor was disconnected.  It seems the metal clip that holds the connection locked in place is gone and this connection comes loose with the vibrations while riding.

I've tried, using my terrible knowledge, to source for this part but all my searches bring up the TPS sensor itself and not the connector part that attaches to it.   Any guidance where I can find a replacement connector?

The TPS Sensor itself seems to be TPS-852OE part number but I cannot for the life of me find the connector part.  Any help?

Thanks

I lost mine and couldn't find one so I just bent one up using a piece of wire. It is reusable to a point but if you remove it too many times it will end up looking a bit ragged. I haven't removed mine since I did it and had actually forgotten all about it.

You could try and contact a bike breaker and see if they have a partial wiring harness that you could get the connector from.

I believe they are also on some car connectors. So try car wreckers as well.
