Title: BEP 3.0 vs m. Unit Blue
Post by: Supershooter on February 28, 2020, 06:31:13 PM
The gauges in my lunchbox don't all work and when I inquired about getting them fixed I was told it was too far gone. So I'm going to add an aftermarket speedometer and gauge cluster. What are your thoughts on using a BEP 3.0 vs a M. unit Blue? I'm not sure I need all the tech the m unit brings but I'd probably appreciate it as time goes on. Please share your thoughts.

Unless you plan on spending a lot of time around dumpsters on rainy afternoons taking pitchers of your yuneek bike you might want to just get a used cluster and plug it in.

Hi Sharpshooter, There is no BEP vs M. Unit Blue they are completely different things. The M. Unit is a rewiring system that can replace the electrical system relays and fuses with an electronic set built into a snazzy box. If you are fitting an aftermarket speedo you will need the BEP 3.0 or an equivalent such as the

or the Tenet from 5 aces. Which also supply the speedo

I used the BEP on my build and I don't know of anyone who used any of the others.,
