Title: Resetting ABS

How do you reset the ABS?

Yeah tried, earth the center pin and hold the ABS button 15sec, doesn't work.

I think it is 30 seconds and I remember having to do it a couple of times myself

Centre pin direct to the ground on the battery using an alligator clip.

hold down the ABS switch and turn the key on.

Count to 20 slowly.

Repeat several times.

Do the LED lamp between the centre post and positive lead of batter (I think), turn on bike, count the flashes.  In my case: 7.  Means ABS computer is fucked if you're not able to reset.

Buy a new ABS computer off ebay and hope.

Install it, do the reset trick.

My recent issue is that I get no reset and no flashes and so I am not sure what is wrong with my ABS.  When I move off the ABS light comes on and stays on, it does not do the flashing every ten minnutes like normally happens.  I am loath to buy a new brain until I am sure the old one is screwed but with no flashes of any sort it i snot looking good.

Have you checked the sensor gaps and tested the sensors themselves?

The light should be blinking.
Maybe your reset switch is stuck?

If it comes to replacing the ABS brain I can recommend Tosi to rebuild it.  Had mine done shortly after determining it was the problem and it has been working since 2011.
