well Im having a problem with the K75c, she was running perfect and now im having problems with the starter cranking by it self every time I put the ignition in the ON position.
I order a new starter relay thinking the connections might have welded replace with a new one and nothing still having the same problem
new battery and problem still occurring.
im getting 13v to the small Lead going to the starter not the big cable, I have done some tracing on the power with the multi-meter and its coming from the green terminal on the load shed relay, I disconnected the right side control Plug under the tank and im getting power 13V on the 2 Green wire pin on that connector under the tank.
I was looking at the wiring diagram and that second Green wire is coming from the Ignition switch..
im thinking my ignition switch might be the problem is this a common thing to happen?
Ps: I Did this trouble shooting late last night so did not have time to check the ignition switch im just posting this while im at work to get a group brain storm so calm down Johnny '
thanks

The first time this happened, you walked to the moto, put the key into the ignition switch, turned it to On then the starter immediately engaged the engine,
or
you put the key into the switch, turned it to On, pressed the starter button, the starter started cranking the engine and wouldn't stop until the switch was turn to Off then you turned the switch to On again and the starter started cranking again,
or
some other thing happened?

Because turning the ignition key to Off shuts down the starter, my attention would focus first on the kill switch/starter button panel to determine if there are broken parts or fused contacts. These parts can scatter so disassembly—if necessary— using a carton, tray or box to catch parts. Simply cleaning the mechanism might help.

In my experience, this must reflect a problem in the push-switch for starting, NOT the start relay welding. When my start relay welded, I could not get it to stop unless I disconnected the battery. Turning the key did not stop the starter.
That was my experience which I fixed by very careful disassembly and reassembly with sanding of the contacts in the relay. And always make sure my battery is well charged up!

It was a bad start button..
Thanks for your time guys
