Well johnny the cafes out there is what drew me to the K. With plans to do that. But ive fallen in love with the thing and now i want to just modernise it with as much orginial parts as possible. So ive spit and polished, stripped the fairing upgraded the lights to led and plan to redesign the tail and lots of carbon fibre ( my day job) parts i also plan to rehoop but only by maybe 4 or 5 inchs max as i bought this to do mileage and want to have my orginal tragkorbs and 22litre top box fitable with a carbon brackets
Heres a pic as its my daily transport so its slow going
I havent checked fische dont really kbow what im doing to properly check so i thought i would throw it on here

Wow you may have the Iconic Soggz Krauser Rear Rack.
Carbon fibre on a 1985, can't wait to see it!

Start there and can put in the last 7 digits of your VIN or pick your model from list
1) go to category 46-Frame, Fairing, Cases and scroll down to diagram for footpegs, etc...
2) pick a part number say 46711457237 PLATE LEFT BLACK RIB UNPAINTED
3) go here https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/PartsSearch.aspx put that part number in the search field
4) your results will be what moto models that specific part will be found on/"should" fit on/interchangeable with
Caveat get a second opinion doing the same here https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/select
Good luck with your moto

greetings...
most cafe racers make custom pegs with custom gear shift and custom rear brake actuators to match their perceived ergos and their hawt as f look...
or they paint the oe camo so nobody can see them...

Yep i do have the soggz rack must be a UK thing. I dont want custom pegs they are crap one person over priced junk that bend if the bike goes over. no bench seat will be found on my motor either i like to ride and walk afterwards.
my concern with part look up is will my current rear master cylinder And gear shift linkage work, will my brake switch fit (which i believe they changed later)
If some one has done it and can let me know there experience it would be a great help

Which brake switch type do you have?

There are no tips or tricks; it's drudgery but it makes you self-reliant.

(maxbmw doesnt seem to want to load)
does the lack of rubber mount make much difference in the vibrations felt through the pegs
Hi admin ill accept the imminent ban on this account too.
MAX is sometimes slow to load but it gets there eventually.
I don't believe the rubber mounts make much difference because they seem to have been abandoned on later models.
As far as accepting a ban goes, you don't have any choice. :-) Just go with the flow, learn the site features, provide part numbers and photos, and review your posts for clarity before you publish them.

Another option is coat them in black
