That's a sharp looking moto

Makes me want to get color matched paniers. That's the same color as my K1100RS.

Sweet looking machine, love the Silk Blue.
Wonder is my yellow K75 S would look as good in Silk Blue...

Got 'em both - look great but don't paint the Dakar.
-
yuch. I despise blue vehicles.
-
No, would't think of it.
I'd rather buy another S and have it painted.
Anyone know if the K75S came in Silk Blue?

Was not aware that the S came in that color. Never saw one in the wild. Pretty rare?

Wow! Just wow. It is a thing of beauty. $3K takes it away.
How is it to drive, as compared to a K75 RT?
I'm guessing less "sporty" as in not as nice in twisties, you might be a bit less quick off the mark?
But similar overall feel or are we talking about a completely different beast?
Curious.
Likelihood that I'd fly to Cali and drive it home is minimal but not zero.

rides wonderfully. "feels" slightly bigger than a K75S, but loves the twisties. a LOT faster than a K75, and chews up the miles more comfortably.
certainly enjoyed 4 days in mountains and Tail of the Dragon..
